The biggest music markets are:
United States: Katy destroys Rihanna here, let's not.
United Kingdom: Roar is nearly 1M and Diamonds is just above 1M.
Dark horse is platinum, Stay is platinum. Rihanna takes the edge.
Australia: Roar is 9x Platinum. Dark Horse isn't certified due to stupid reasons but it sold a LOT there.
Both Diamonds and Stay are 5x Platinum (So Roar alone nearly matches both singles ) = Katy wins.
Germany: Roar is Platinum, Dark Horse is gold. Diamonds is Platinum, Germany is gold. = EVEN
Canada: Roar is 5x platinum, Dark Horse is 3x platinum. Diamonds is platinum, Stay is not certified. Katy destroys Rih.
Platinum:
US - 1,000,000
UK - 600,000
Germany - 300,000
Australia + Canada - 80,000
I won't include Japan because Katy & RIhanna don't sell much there.

While it's been over 11 months since PRISM's release and she was in the WW Top 40 just last week. Looks like PRISM is doing better relatively.

PRISM feels like the bigger era and from the receipts i'm seeing, that is indeed the case.

I wouldn't say that Katy destroys Rih in the US but she definitely has more than a slight edge. But still, the rest of your post demonstrate just how much she slays in the world's largest markets.
Also Katy is bigger than Rih in Japan. PRISM peaked top 5 there, while UA didn't even touch top ten. Also she co-headlined a concert with SNSD so she is pretty big htere.

PRISM wins in single sales, video streaming, impact, touring.
Unapologetic currently has the edge in album sales, but PRISM is still selling steadily.

Only TD is bigger than Unapologetic and that's just by an inch.

Okay because 8 multiplatinum singles and 6+ million is just barely bigger than UA with it's two multiplatinum singles and 3.5 million sales

They will probably end up selling around the same in the long run if Prism can sell another 600-700k
Considering Katy's extremely extensive touring and what seems like endless promo schedule I would hope Prism could eventually outsell it! Unapologetic's promotion was basically three appearances in the US and UK and one in Germany. Pretty sure Katy did triple that in Australia alone

Roar sold 10M in 4 months (WW), It sold 4M by the end of 2013 in the US.
It's now at 5.4M in the US, so Roar is well over 11.5M WW
Dark Horse is 5.5M in the US and roughly 2M WW, giving it 7.5M

IFPI includes streams in their year-end list and considering Roar had huge Vevo views it probably didn't sell anywhere near 10 million last year actually.

What do you even mean? Wasn't Unapologetic also supported by a tour?
Rihanna also had dates in Oceania.
Not to mention Katy Perry's Prism tour has not even reached Oceania yet.

Well Roar still managed to smash in Australia before she even made her first visit there. I mean, why shouldn't she capitalize on her popularity?

So when it suits you, touring does not constitute as promotion?

So you are telling me Beyonce had over 150 promotional appearances for her current album if we're including tours? That is a lot of promo!

Except that you are supposed to perform songs from the album if you are promoting THE album while touring.
And stop going off-topic.
