I've never visited a mosque outside of video games. I do love old architecture, though, and I would love to visit an old mosque someday. I also want to visit more old churches, even though I'm no longer a religious person.
Never seen one in real life but they look very nice
Well this one is located in Constantinople and looks like a church, most Turkish mosques look like churches. Persian style mosques are very exotic and beautiful as well:
Legend Haghia Sophia is now a museum but it's mostly known as a Church, she is the most beautiful church of all time though:
It is such a shame it was violently turned into a mosque. Just imagine all the golden mosaics and the other beautiful art that was there prior to 1453 .
Thank God Ataturk turned it into a museum and the surviving pieces of Art could resurface.
Suleymaniye Camii in Istanbul. I went there this year in April, late in the afternoon and it was just magic. There was NO ONE in the yard and the lights were wonderful.

It completely let me down. Not only it's too dark and crowded, but it's also in miserable conditions
