I think "American Boy" is going to go down as one of the songs that defined the year 2008. It may not have been one of the absolute biggest hits, but people will remember that song.
It's going to DOMINATE Pazz & Jop. I never quite understood why ATRL hated it so much; in my money, it's the BEST of the 2008 British singles.
