I really wanted to see The House Bunny .
Maybe I'll catch it on DVD or when it hits TV, hopefully.

Find it on the internet? Watch it there, that's how I watched it.

^ Lol, nah, I like my movies on big screens, the computer will kill my eyes, even thought it's like a 21 inch screen or w/e.
I wonder if they still play it on the movies were I work, maybe I'll get lucky.

1. The Dark Knight
Released: July 18, 2008
Starring: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Why I Like It?: This is definitely the best film of this year. Or even of the whole decade. When I heard about all the press and everything, I thought it was just being overblown because of Heath's death. But when I went to the cinema, I was glued to the screen. I just thought the whole film was amazingly well done. Heath's scenes were masterpieces, and proved how amazing an actor he truly he was, and what we are going to miss out on in the future.

I forgot about the Top News Stories of '08! I swear this is the final non-music thing.
1. Barack Obama/U.S. Election 2008
This year's top story is Barack Obama becoming the new President of the United States of America. He made history by becoming the first black President in U.S. history. Other stories arising from this year U.S. Election include threats of the assasination of Obama already. The main reason for this becoming the #1 is the fact that it was on the news and in the paper every day, it wouldn't go away. If this is the way it was in the UK, I can't imagine how it was in the US. Congrats to the big man, we salute you!
2. Heath Ledger's Death
This year, Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead in Soho, Manhattan by his Housekeeper.
Quote:
After two weeks of intense media speculation about possible causes of Ledger's death, on 6 February 2008, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of New York released its conclusions, based on an initial autopsy of 23 January 2008, and a subsequent complete toxicological analysis.[13][14][110][111] The report concludes, in part, "Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine."[13][112] It also states definitively: "We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."[13][112] The medications found in the toxicological analysis are commonly prescribed in the United States for insomnia, anxiety, depression, pain, and/or cold symptoms.[13][112] Although the Associated Press and other media reported that "police estimate Ledger's time of death between 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m." (on 22 January 2008),[113] the Medical Examiner's Office announced that it would not be publicly disclosing the official estimated time of death.[99][114] The official announcement of the cause and manner of Ledger's death heightened concerns about the growing problems of prescription drug abuse or misuse and Combined Drug Intoxication (CDI)

I wanna just say that we will never, ever forget Heath Ledger. He was a wonderful actor, and wonderful person. RIP Heath! Never be forgotten.
3. The Mysterious Sea Creature
Quote:
This creature washed up on the shores of Montauk, Long Island, sometime over the last few days. Gawker has been providing hourly updates. And for some reason, the Montauk Monster now has its own column on the HuffPo. The creature has been called a beaked rodent, a government experiment, and a viral marketing campaign for a Cartoon Network show.
*Sigh*
This is clearly some poor dog or racoon that died, ended up in the water, and then washed up on a beach. The hairlessness is a simple result of submersion and decomposition. The apparent beak is a small portion of the skull that has poked through the rotting skin. I feel fairly confident in saying all this, because I witnessed something very similar looking pulled out of Lake Ontario. Water does weird things to dead stuff.
That’s my call. I’ll continue monitoring, in case it does turn out to be an actual monster. And as always, look to Cryptomundo for some quality analysis.
UPDATE: If you’re lucky enough to find a live Montauk Monster, you can win a boatload of nutritionally-dubious energy drink!

This creature scared the living **** out of me! I couldn't believe it when I saw it!
