Now, now, Vespy, let's not shade Where Is The Love.. still hear that track every now and then. I loved the Black Eyed Peas and I actually love I Gotta Feeling. It's such a feel good song. No clue why people hate it. My Humps was also kinda a smash. I remember them playing it at my sixth grade mixer to the chagrin of our sexually repulsed parents.
Let's stan for No Doubt this week.
I'm not shading anything, in fact I really love BEP's first four albums. I just feel like you never hear them anymore, but yeah maybe Where Is The Love.
Meanwhile I still hear Don't Speak, Spiderwebs, Just A Girl, It's My Life, and Underneath It All on the radio regularly. Gwen still referenced as a 90s style icon. etc.
And she never talks about eras she wasn't really happy with She didn't want to do TSE that much but Jimmy kind of forced it out of her because she had LAMB leftovers. She almost NEVER talks about Return of Saturn (best album of all time ) besides for the singles and Magic's In The Makeup either. Someone mentioned it in an interview in 2012 and she literally said she doesn't like to think about that album/time in her life
Funny how the Gwens and Fergies are tripping over themselves for a hit while Barbra swoops in and shows them how real legends do it. Rooting for Gwen though.
Oh, I thought I had no idea what that Tove Lo girl sounded like... but I just checked and realized I know that Habits song. Is the rest of the album better than it? It's kind of middle-of-the-road for me.
Cheek to Cheek really is better than every Katy Perry album, wow.
Tony's music in general works pretty well when making/eating dinner. I think his voice is calming. But there's something 'noisy' about Cheek to Cheek.
I understand that they're probably using the project to market her live shows instead of just a stand-alone jazz record, and it works for that and stuff, but I won't really be able to use.
Looking Hot should not have been pulled. They shouldn't have listened to that small outcry of people complaining. It was a good music video. One wonders what was going through their heads when they penned it tho.
It is so hard for me to pick my favorite ND album because it really depends on the day. Objectively, Tragic Kingdom is probably their best crafted album...but when it comes to me and my emotions I lean towards Return of Saturn, or even Everything In Time
Wow @ Anne Thompson exposing rival studios for trying to hurt Unbroken's Oscar chances by saying it's too violent. JL was right, there is propaganda against Godgie
