Anyway, it rains practically from now until March/April, nightlife is OK unless you've experienced Toronto/any American city then it's complete trash, you most likely will not face any outward racism.

Victoria is basically a retirement village, Prince George is a slum (I hear. You won't catch me up there), the Okanagan region is beautiful but the weather is extremely cold in winter, Squamish and Whistler are pretty famous worldwide, and each of the cities in the GVRD has their individual things that make them cool (usually related to whichever ethnicity makes up the majority).

Just make sure to go out and enjoy the beauty. Depending on where you live it can seem like a bore, but we have amazing Provincial parks, and other recreational areas. I've lived on the Sunshine Coast my whole life, and I am constantly amazed by how diverse our little area is.

For fun, it depends on where you are. But if you are an outdoors person, you won't be disappointed.

As for racism, you won't have to worry. Enjoy your stay!

It's beautiful! I live in Vancouver and it's such a great city. The scenery is just gorgeous.

As others have said, it rains a lot for most of Fall/Winter, but it's not super cold and snowy like the rest of Canada in the Winter. Depends on where in the province you're staying, but it's always quite mild where I live.

you're latino so in Canada, the last thing you have to worry about is racism
it would be different if you're Indian tho

-Vancouver and the other cities around it are very multicultural (populations of Chinese, Indians, Koreans, Japanese, Filipinos are very high)

-do not trust BC Premier Christy Clark.
-Prices to everything are high compare to the US.

It looks very pretty. vancouver seems very similar to Seattle.

Vancouver is one of me favorites cities. Lucky you if you live there.

Canadians are not racist, I mean there's probably some people racist, but culturally, they very respectful I think.

I would love to live there one day.
