I must say my year-end list would have been incomplete without the legendary, insanity, Mariah Carey.
Touch My Body is probably one of the tackiest song she has ever put out; however, Mariah has the "effect" to make me like it. The song is not meant to be taken seriously. Mariah has a mission for something that would measure up to Emancipation of Mimi. She decided to record a simple, elegant performance that has already sent pop radio programmers scrambling to add
Touch My Body to their playlists. Ok, I'm not going to totally praise this song because you have to admit, the lyrics are pretty ****ing retarded. I mean, c'mon, Mariah can write better lyrics than "

I’m Yours is a prepossessing love song that showcases Mraz' vocal and his easy-going style. Mraz's light-hearted enthusiasm and cheery singalong are hard to dislike on first listen, but his
skadi-badi-boodi-bo vocal breakdowns nails the song for me. Picture this, you are on a journey/vacation trip to the Bahamas,
I'm Yours would be a perfect song for the trip. The track reminds me of a great wonderful summer, hence, the best time of the year. The track is radio friendly, chart-topping hit, and proves to be one of the most lovable songs of 2008. What more can you ask for?
