So I was at school today. Earlier in the day a girl was singing a country song that has the lyrics 'Edge of this beer' or something. She was singing the song and when she got to 'edge' she started singing Edge of Glory randomly! That song is iconic!! Definitely one of her signature hits. Gaga was not mentioned though.
Later in the day is where it got interesting.. We were looking at this silly teen health magazine. There was an article about time management and Taylor Swift had a full page picture and had the headline. It was her walking the streets with a cute purple hat and purple socks. The next two pages had smaller pictures of lesser known celebrities and authors, very tiny little pictures. Beyoncé was on there, and others.
So the guy next to me is looking at it and is like 'blech, Taylor Swift?' and some girls were like 'eww her outfit!' And my teacher was like
"Yeah.. She had a different style. But I respect that. And hey, if you don't like her or her style, flip to the next page and shake it off 
" (yeah I know it doesn't really make sense but she thought it was funny
) and then two guys next to me started singing it and dancing in their seats a little bit and 2 others were just confused and didn't know she had a new song
The teacher then talked about how she likes the song and finds it funny how she makes fun of everything people say about her.
Once we got going on the assignment, one guy said 'eh, I don't get the big deal over Taylor Swift. She's not ugly or nothing, but she's really not hot at all.' And another guy said 'I really don't care what you're saying I just want to be inside of her.'
So later in the day I have another class with her and this is where the Gaga shade comes in. We did the same thing in that class, I didn't have to since I already did it, but others were doing it for the first time. They talked about Taylor Swift and in this class lots of people were praising her style. 'See, on most people this wouldn't look good. I could never wear this. But she totally pulls it off' things like that. One guy randomly said she looked like a
ghetto Lady Gaga. and my teacher was QUICK to turn that head around and CLOCK him!
"Taylor Swift is NOT a ghetto Lady Gaga. Taylor Swift ALWAYS looks classy and put together. She is elegant and classy and that is something I CAN NOT say about Lady Gaga."(she made a disgusted face every time she said Lady Gaga )
The guy made another Gaga joke and said "Hey I'm just sayin'! If I saw that Lady Gaga I would tear her clothes off and throw 'em on the grill!" That got some laughs, but some people didn't get it and he was like "Did yall see that? She wore a dress made out of a bunch of steaks!"
and everyone was like oh yeah..
So there is some funny stuff that happened today. I thought you ATRLers would enjoy it

Oh yeah I also have a story about this special kid who loves Katy Perry. He talks and says some funny stuff about her a lot and he is dancing to one of her songs at the talent show next month apparently!
