I think that the first journalist has jumped on precipitated conclusions, maybe Prince just played one of Rita's songs for him and he thought that the song was for Prince album when it's for Rita's

Don't worry about the voice it won't interfere much with her music,i heard that it's not that time consuming.
I wonder when the official announcement for the next single will be made,also I doubt the single will be released in the UK this month,considering that they usually put the singles up for pre order,before actual sales.

I am always stunned when some stans say that Rita should just focus on her music career,when in reality Rita is just being smart by taking up other things on the side,those deals are what is keeping Rita relevant ATM.
I keep pointing out that her label,is mainly responsible for how her music career is now ,look at the Prince situation,why not approve the track that Prince wants?rather they've chosen other tracks that I am sure might be sub par,compared to Prince's preferred choice.secondly why is her label so stingy with new music,when the album is supposed to be out by "January "(of all months).Sometimes I feel someone in her label is sabotaging her.

Having her to release songs for movies, perfumes, fashion lines..etc and to sing live for fashion shows is better than watching her flopping and fading away. I agree.
