Are y'all new to ATRL? You DO know that members always do that "omg _____, ha impact!" whenever someone shares the same idea or words as another pop star or celebrity, right? No one said Katy invented anything, and I can pretty much assure you that it was a joke. So, the mini meltdowns and unprofessionalism that followed were highly unecessary

Also, the Monsters always try to act like Gaga invented a term or phrase, so I don't understand why it's a problem now

The best jazz performances are (at least for me) those almost fully improvised, because its like musicians speak and respond to each other with their instruments. Most jazz songs dont include vocals at all and they still speak to you. So the only thing you really need to do to conquer jazz is to connect with the music.
