Right, and they were probably too star struck to even notice the music. Some of the narrative will be loss through the repetitiveness of MM's songwriting.
Would you say you hate the album when you are handpicked by Taylor out of millions of fans on Twitter/Tumblr to come to her house and listen to the album before anyone else? I know I would not. It'd be so ungrateful of me.
Exactly why they're not exactly the most "reliable" source when it comes to 1989's quality
Not that I doubt Taylor, but people screaming how it's her best album ever still make me reluctant. I think any song/album that I heard in her house, eating her cookies, and talking to Taylor Swift would be my favorite of her's. Like
I'm hoping it's true regardless
no you're right! i mean i wouldn't wanna be like this album sucks after spending all day with her and her family and after she hand picked me ya know? but who knows maybe the album is really that good… i hope it is… I've been very questioning how good it will be ever since she announced her pop debut… i really hope it lives up to how good they say it is!
SIO is back in my country's Såpotify but it seems like all of its streams have gone to watse. She's back to the bottom of Spotify top 100 in my country.
I'd shut up and keep the impressions to myself if they were negative. It'd be kinda sad if I lied about how good the album was.
I don't think anyone's lying. The hype and enjoyment was obviously just improved by the fact that Taylor Swift was right ****ing next to them the whole listen. Like, most stans overrate albums when they first come out as is- it'd be 10x worse this way
