All three were child stars together on the Mickey Mouse club. All three were teen stars together at the same time in 1999 and 2000. All three showed their sexy sides in their early 20s. And all three have had their share of relationships and divorce, except JT (in divorce so far). But how come Xtina & JT were able to handle their problems without having a mental breakdown while Britney ended up having one? How come Xtina has never had any problems with handling her kids, or going through a divorce while staying strong?

Xtina had a rough childhood from what I know. Did that empower her to make sure she made the right choices so that her life would turn out better than her childhood? It seems Britney didn't have many family problems thoughtout her childhood, nor did JT. And JT seems to have dabbled in party style from time to time, but like Miley Cyrus, it seems he always kept it under control.

So how come Britney ended up having a mental breakdown, with custody issues, a major loss of independence, and a loss of the old Britney, while Xtna & JT seem to still be the same people they used to be?

Christina still had it pretty rough though. I'm surprised she made it out unscathed with how ruthless everyone was to her for Bionic and her fluctuating weight.

Britney was the bigger of them, she was the bigger target. Media was harder with her. She was also hanging out with Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, bad companies, etc.

Christina also had a huge meltdown, I mean, at least Britney doesn't has a mugshot, the thing is people didn't care about legend X, tbh, no shade.

Drugs tbh. Between allegedly taking meth and a concoction of prescription medication it really ****ed her up, as well as being drugged by her former manager. She also went out a lot which didn't help and hanging around with the wrong people. Britney herself admitted that a lot of what she went through was self inflicted.

Britney was sick + bigger than the other two.

But even if it was, artists like Mariah, Madonna, Michael etc. were much bigger than her, but why they didn't/haven't same Britney's problems?

I personally don't think JT or Christina have come out unscathed. I think they both very much have gone through a lot of crap with fame that have affected them.

Christina had a lot of personal stuff going on i.e. her divorce which was really hard on her but people don't realize this because she tries to keep her business private as possible. After that, she flubbed the anthem on the biggest American sports event of the year. Not only that but getting arrested for public intoxication, gaining weight, and her image still suffers today from people thinking she's a bitch. Trust me, Christina is not as unaffected as people think she is. Otherwise a lot of the comments she has made throughout the years wouldn't have been said about fame and other celebrities. Is it on Britney's level? No. But if Christina had the public interest that Britney had back then it may have been worse. A lot of people don't realize Christina has had a lot of messy moments that went under the radar simply because she's a private person and didn't have that same level of fame Britney had despite being the more critically acclaimed of the two. Christina has had a lot of experimenting with drugs, alcohol, partying and generally being sloppy. She's obviously more stable now but her early years... chile.

JT has had his fair share of drama with attacking paparazzi and the whole Britney thing. He also is relatively private now and shares very little of his personal life anymore. His views about fame can be heard in Jay Z's Holy Grail. Also JT acts like the NSYNC part of his life never existed so that tells you a little bit as well. He has it easier because he is a man though. But to say they have dealt with fame well, mmm don't know about that really at all. I just think people tend to view Britney as a delicate little flower when that's hardly the case at all.

Christina went trough a pretty rough mental breakdown during her Stripped days.

Difference is the people around her rallied and got her together.

I get the feeling Britney was left alone during her mental breakdown and to her own devices, which you just can't do with someone who is, on top of on a celebrity spotlight, is also suffering from mental illness.

Because Britney has never had control of her career.

When she tries to make decisions by her own, they are bad. (Personal and professional)

no i'm not. Britney was bigger than JT and Xtina, everybody knows that. Mariah and Madonna were much stronger than Britney and from what I know, the press and GP never cared about Mariah the person/celebrity like they did her music. Madonna got dragged but she knew how to deal with, and the draggings Michael got ruined his life and he had a ton of problems so that is a dumb comparison.

How big you are is everything to do with this. The bigger you are the bigger your celebrity status, the more people that want to see you fall and it means more people care a ton about your private life and the press are out to get you, like they did with Britney. JT and Xtina never received that kind of media attention.
