Yeah, hardly anyone believed in this song.

People were predicting a top 20 peak because "radio always plays her stuff to death". In the end TIHWD supporters were proven right, as the sales to airplay ratio was extremely high especially for an unpromoted fifth single. We just didn't foresee that she no longer has unconditional radio support.

Spins stable today, but lost 0.5m AI.

omg at you bookmarking me and taking me seriously. The Dark Horse comment should have given my sarcasm away, if nothing else.

Regardless, TIHWD was still a bigger hit than Birthday WW and would make WoA look like a colossal flop in comparison. I don't really see Legendary Lovers doing much better now since it may be the 6th single after 3 moderate hits instead of being 4th, but it CERTAINLY has a better chance at making the Top 10 / Top 20 than WoA does.

I'm getting tired of delusional WoA stans seriously. Is it that hard to realize the american summer is over and understand that the only possible choice for the next single is Legendary Lovers? Radio stations want something different to play. I'm not here for another Birthday/This Is How We Do underperformance to finish the era and I'm a WoA fan from the beginning. You guys need to stop.

They both have a lot of chances at making the Top 20. Radio stations will play WoA as soon as they get the green light but i see LL doing better digitally.

I seriously doubt they flop harder than TIHWD.
