Postman arrested for not delivering over 40,000 mails
Joseph Brucato had the mail in his car, locker and in his home.Postal investigators subsequently found 2,500lb (1.1 tonnes) of mail dated as far back as 2005.‘Personal reasons’ prevented Brucato, whose attorney says suffers from depression, from delivering the mail.
The hoarded mail was bound for businesses and residents in the Flatbush neighbourhood of Brooklyn.
