According to IHS iSuppli's teardowns, parts and labor costs for the iPhone 6 are estimated to begin at $200 for the 16 GB iPhone 6 model, giving Apple a roughly 69 percent gross profit margin on the devices.
Another interesting observation from IHS iSuppli is that Samsung does indeed remain involved in production of the main A-series processor for the iPhone.
Not when Samsung is the #1 smartphone seller in the world and shares with Apple 100% of the smartphone profits, leaving only dust for Nokia, LG and co.
The shop in which I work has things that cost 3p to manufacture and yet we sell them for £5
True but the LG G3 for example, with better internals, is being sold for 499€, the latest Nokia Samsung Sony for 650€, that's all a lot less than Apple.
And? Apple is a luxury brand. It's just like high-end fashion brands, the products are produced overseas for cheap but sold expensive here. If you have the coins, spend em.
The mother Theresa of the phones making the more expensive phones but selling them less than the competition. The generosity is real
Well someone has to pay for their dodecacore processors. I can't help that Apple is smart with their money and puts it towards R&D and software optimization

And that someone is Apple, since Samsung produces their processors.
Get your checks Samsung while dragging them in your commercials

This is literally business 101 if the shirt you're wearing cost $20 then it probably cost $2 to make Apple has the luxury of being able to overprice their items & have a huge demand unfortunately we can't say the same about Samsung
