I've liked this type of music way before Lady Gaga. Something about it is just so calming and soothing to me in a way that I can't even describe. It's like, to me, I feel like I become one with sound and time and can feel the same energy that someone else, almost a hundred years ago, had felt and still keep that glimmer of emotion preserved. It's all so timeless and beautiful.
Yikes @ that sounding like a Lady Gaga post on LM.com but that's how I feel. Artpop is not a bad album. It has its duds, sure, like all albums do. It was just released in a time that it wasn't made to be released in. The album sounds and thrives all of 2012. There could have been some huge hits in there.
And yes! The emotion she put into Lush Life makes the song. The notes at the very end are like the icing on the cake! It would slay if she did Lush Life at the Grammy's and people thought it was an original song and bought it anyway
