Apparently Thom Yorke tweeted this picture:



The vinyl has very Radioheadesque artwork and the band did say that they were going to record this year. Also, their app was just updated with new pictures. Their last album was in 2011. Could they pull a Radiohead and do a semi-surprise release on us like they did with the King Of Limbs?

It could be Thom's solo material, but he just finished up touring with his side band...

They said months ago that they would be returning to the studio in September. I don't think it'll be a Thom solo, plus he already released an album under Atoms for Peace. It will be a new Radiohead album.

Their last album was a bit disappointing, but I'm still very excited if true

Exactly, they always have music that they sit on for years like Nude, Good Morning Mr. Magpie, etc. who knows how long they actually needed to be in studio?

It could be a Thom solo project but that's just as good.

Saw this on their tumblr and I had the same thought, but I figured out it's most likely to be Thom's solo stuff since Jonny is busy with his own orchestral ****.

I loved King Of Limbs though, I'd put it above a couple of their albums. TKOL was only a disappointment I think because it followed In Rainbows ( as most things would be), but I think TKOL is a very solid little album

Whelp, ended up just being a Thom solo album apparently. At least Radiohead is in the studio.

Still doesn't rule them dropping a Radiohead album soon and unexpectedly since this is the kind of thing they have a history of doing. In Rainbows didn't come out too long after the Eraser. But... we'll see.
