Ugh. Godga makes it so hard to stan for her sometimes. Still, love Cheek to Cheek, it's her second best album (excluding EPs like Monster) and I am excited for the Fall Asleep Ball.

TBH the sharp decline in the quality of her music wouldn't even bother me if the tours were still good.

That was light years better than what she's serving now but still no. She was known for crazy outfits and hit songs, and she had her stans who bought her album but I don't think there has been any time period where Gaga was synonymous with cool.

It should never be the main focus of a review, unless an album is a cheap and awful marketing scheme (Most pop albums are actually not in this vein - they may be generic and designed to be popular, but at the same time they can reflect an artist's style or opinions). That LA Times review specifically made very little effort in discussing the album musically.

This is the problem when gossipy tabloid writers think that they are also knowledgeable music critics.

Reviewing a review is one of the fave things of a certain fanbase and so embarassing omg.

As you can see at the bottom left corner it says Instagram, she took that picture herself idg where you're getting 'notifying the paparazzi' from. Rihanna has always been 'cool' and 'edgy' even before Gaga even existed (eg Disturbia video)

I'm not embarrassed myself, but carry on. There's nothing wrong with a negative review, but people shouldn't be employed to be unprofessional and lazy.

i have no problem with gaga getting her fans to promo for her. the part that got me was when she insisted they have to buy them in the next 72 hrs. she wants that #1 so bad; she's so damn obsessed with charts
