It seems like there was so much hype and then we heard the song and it was an instant smash just had no longevity and then the basic video didn't help matters.

It's a smash regardless but yes it didn't have staying power and already seems like its at the end of its run where is should be in the middle soaring to its peak.

I'm not gonna lie the video and the VMA performance were underwhelming.
