You know what irks me about Emma Watson's speech? While I agree with 96 percent of it, she never focused on ACTUAL big issues. They were all first world problems if anything. Like, women can't even drive let alone show their faces in some countries. Some countries still practice rituals were a women must be impregnated before adulthood.

Moore, hot off her best actress win at the Cannes Film Festival, hosted a tea to celebrate her friend Jackson, who was recently nominated for the best actress in a play Tony for her performance as Lena Younger opposite Denzel Washington in "A Raisin in the Sun." At the event, Moore toasted Jackson with personal remarks and remarks from First Lady Michelle Obama, and Jackson herself then took the mic. (New York, 5/27/14)
