I think its really shady and totally unnecessary. Like why even join on here if your going to waste internet bandwidth.

It's pretty pointless but whatever floats their boat...

It's very bad forum ettiquette that really only occurs on ATRL, hence the thread I opened about this here: http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=650998

When users are scrolling it draws attention to your posts and takes away from those that don't center their posts, consequently interrupting the discussion flow. I don't mind the colored text, some of it is nice, like Drais and MimiLamb's, but the colored text, special font, and centered post is just bad.

And the fact that they do it every single time and it's manual here

I don't have a problem with it, but I don't do it myself. I'm way too lazy to remember to center each and every post that I make.

And to think that some are even on mobile while doing all that. Dedication!
