I don't get how you all like a song in which one lyric relates to the song.
SHe pretty much jumbled a bunch of lyrics doing her shade (but in a subpar basic way) and called it the boys.

HOw is she gonna disrespect her fans by making an entire song minus one lyric about everything but the subject matter

Fire Burns is Top 10 on PFRR. I've seen the light again.

The regression in her lyrics are evident in that song. It's so childish and unnecessary.

Punchlines are always clever with Nicki but that doesn't equate to a great song.
She's always strong at punchlines but she's not always strong at delivery a great song.

The Basic has great production though...I honestly held my breath for the first minute listening to it and held my laughter shortly thereafter.
It was ok but Nicki can do much better.

I know what you meant. A lot of people were devastated and angry when they heard RTM and CIO, because they were expecting material like Monster (which had just came out) and Bottoms Up.

And then they all finally stopped whining about an album they hadn't heard yet two months later on Halloween when Roman's Revenge came out.

Nicki always has some hot bops that are ruined by the fact that she only lasts like 1 min on the song. iETS is an example of that
