I've been having this happen to me;
Whenever I sync my iPhone, recently upgraded to ios8, it adds an odd amount of plays to songs I've been listening to. Is anyone else having this problem? It's really irritating and I'm not sure what to do. I've tried restoring it, it says iPhone cannot be restored? Is iOS8 hating on me, or any of you?

Yes, I just got an additional 2000 plays on a song I take my play count pretty seriously, so I'm miffed, I don't want to reset it either.

A couple of my songs have around 3000 plays. And most have around 600 now for some reason

Mine decreased most to below 100 plays. i am so mad.
