What does this mean? Are you one of those "the President is black so racism isn't an issue" people? There is a lot that goes into play when it comes to why President Obama was elected, from how horrible Bush was to even the fact that Obama's light skin tone made it easier for white Americans to "relate" to him. Obama being part black is in no way indicative of racism no longer being an issue. In fact, he faces specific challenges from a predominantly-white opposition that no white President has ever had to deal with. An example would be the birthers, which didn't pop up when Bill Clinton was elected, or any other white democrat for that matter. Racism is alive and well in this country.

the president being black doesn't mean the average black person has power
no, that's systematic racism
most racism isn't systematic
and there is no reverse racism. racism is just racism.

Racism that isn't systematic isn't racism, it's discrimination done on a personal level and affects no one but the person being targeted's feelings.
