Nope. With the amazing success of self titled, she proved she doesn't need it.
It's interesting some of the current pop gurls with all the hits and heavy promo, are struggling to sell albums. Like what good are those hit singles, if you can't sell albums and concert tickets.
Well she's proved that she doesn't really need hits but it wouldn't hurt to get more time to time, you know to see what excuses the haters can come up with.
She doesn't really need it but it'd be nice. At the end of the day she makes music because she wants to. She's so damn rich she doesn't have to make music to pay the bills. She is an actual example of making music just because she wants to please her fans at this point. She honestly hasn't tried hard for a single but I'd love to see her topping the charts worldwide again. I'm not going to act like I'm above a hit song, it's exciting.
But BEYONCÉ remains one of the only albums I've heard people talk about as if it were a single, if that makes any sense. Like it was such an event and people would bring it up all the time and quote one of the lines that caught on (I woke up like dis, surfboard* etc) so it's special in its own right. She's a very odd case but her relevance isn't lacking currently so she can keep doing her, I can live the rest of my life never seeing Beyoncé holding the #1 single.
*note to people with low comprehension ability: this is not me saying surfboard is more iconic than Britney's career in case you want to try and clock this point
Truth is she doesn't need one. Shes so far up there at this point people worship her regardless and it can't be questioned because if you question or criticize her youre deemed prejudice.
