If by vapid you mean shallow then yeah, definitely, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Sex is a really important part of relationships and for most people it's important to be sexually attracted to their partner. Before we even get to know the people we date, we judge them for how they look and assess whether or not we're attracted to them, and whether or not we can do better. I don't think there's anything wrong with acknowledging that. I mean how many people here can say they've been messaged by a morbidly obese, 58 year old man on grindr and said "you know what, he might have a great personality! I'm going to go on a date with him!"

Looks aren't the only thing that matters, but being sexually attracted to someone is really, really important, and I don't think recognising that makes you a bad person, nor does it make you vapid/boring.

Fair enough You're more than entitled to your own opinion and I'm entitled to mine. I couldn't date someone if I wasn't attracted to their face either, but I also wouldn't date someone if they didn't have muscles and I don't think that makes me a bad person for recognising that I'm like that. The gym and training are a big part of my lifestyle, and I think it's important to have shared interests and live a compatible lifestyle to the person you're with. Kind of like how gaymers are attracted to other gay guys who are really into video games, or if emo guys are attracted to other emo guys, if that makes any sense, except they don't get labelled as being shallow.
