Bruno is under Atlantic and those whose faves under them know what kind of label Atlantic is. They're not interested to invest money just to hire creative team for their artists. Hence why they mostly just signed artists who can write, have vision for their music direction and even better if they can produce.

I agree with Lipton, for the most part, but wouldn't necessarily rule out the possibility that men (on average) could be natural predisposed to excel at innovation (beyond just the inherent advantages the system may afford to men) as a result of the male brain having comparatively stronger spatial/conceptual reasoning/visualization skills on average.
