I think it's because of the last minute, but that's my favorite part! The emotional build-up the entire song. The piano and the trumpet. The fact that it almost sounds like a tango rather than a jazz song (BRILLIANT instrumental interpretation there, by the way). The way she sings the last, "My baby shot me down." It's so much slayage. Cher should be, and probably is, proud. Gaga did her justice.

I think a lot of people will buy this album. Not in the first week but it will be an album like everyone should have in their collection you know

She's taking advice from everyone who criticized her during the ARTPOP era for responding to the media's negativity so now she's just picking the positive reviews and posting them.
She didn't bother with Billboard and Rolling Stones, but posted the "Cult Noise" review, which says something.

She's finally practicing what she preaches and only paying attention to the positive reviews. She's also making it a point to focus on the reviews from people who are actual jazz critics as opposed to trolls like that woman who posted her "review" on Slant. You can't come for her during the ARTPOP Era for focusing on negativity and then turn around and come for her for focusing on positivity.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Gaga playing into the "Gaga is over" narrative during the ARTPOP Era made the campaign seem like even more of a failure than it was. People watched as she broke down in public. By only focusing on positivity, you don't allow the negativity to taint the campaign. She is surrounding herself with what all popstars should surround themselves with so they can perform at their best.

Bang Bang is probably my favorite vocal performance by Gaga. There's so much emotion and her phrasing is divine. She has some letdowns, vocally, but that ending just tears it all to ****ing shreds.
