She sings most of them with more passion than she has in 12 years and all the themes (insecurity, loneliness, alienation, love, motivation destiny & faith) can relate to her. The fact that it's not angsty and doesn't explore her "dark" years in details doesn't mean it can't be close to her heart.
Also, the songs feel like a sequel to all the written/co-written demos that leaked over the years. Why assuming that she would pay for writing credits when they're reminiscent of her style and when she's notorious in the industry for NOT putting her name there if she didn't deserve it (see
FF where she changed the words on a lot of demos but never got credited for it).
I think I'll take the words of professionals who were present during the whole recording process and whose version is completely different than the one made by a few people on the internet, who were nowhere near anything pertaining to this album.
