12/25. Mariah and Beyoncé are my favorites.
I'd bet that Britney, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Cook and Archuleta made your top 5.

The Fame might be there as well, maaaaaaaybe Archuleta, but idk, i don't think his album would be that high since you don't like him that much

Reeces' Best Of '08: Top 30 Albums (05-04)
05. New Kids On The Block - The Block
Released: September 2nd
Genre: Dance-Pop, R&B
Producers: RedOne, Polow da Don, Timbaland, Teddy Riley, Nasri, Hakim Abdulsamad, Akon, Adam Messinger, Emanuel Kiriakou, Fernando Garibay
US Billboard 200: #2
This is one of the few great surprises of the year, I didn't expect to enjoy the album as much as I did, and still do. The song that tempted me to listen to the album was the cheesy Summertime, which was one of my guilty pleasures at the moment. Every single track in the album has potential to be a hit as the album comes loaded with collaborations with pop radio hit makers such as Akon, Ne-Yo, and the Pussycat Dolls, newcomer Lady Gaga, and boy band New Edition. If they're smart, by taking advantage of Lady Gaga's recent ascending popularity, release Big Girl Now, and after that Click, Click, Click, both tracks are extremely radio friendly. Other highlights include Single featuring Ne-Yo, Dirty Dancing, and Put It On My Tab featuring Akon. I'm glad I ended up giving this album a chance, because as you can tell, it's one of my favorites of the year.
Standout Tracks:- "Single (Feat. Ne-Yo)"
- "Big Girl Now (Feat. Lady Gaga)
- "Click, Click, Click"
- "Dirty Dancing"
- "Lights, Camera, Action"
- "Summertime"
- "Put It On My Tab (Feat. Akon)"
04. Lady GaGa - The Fame
Released: October 28th
Genre: Dance-Pop
Producers: RedOne, Space Cowboy, Rob Fusari, Martin Kierszenbaum, Brian Kierulf, Josh Schwartz
US Billboard 200: #17
Just Dance is one of the best tracks of the year, but if you think that's the best this album has to offer, you're absolutely wrong. I can say that at some point, this album was my number one of the year. The Fame is filled with heavy dance tracks and insane electronic beats, it's one of those albums that you can listen to without skipping a single song. The lyrics are very entertaining and her voice is perfect for this kind of music. The album is mostly addictive catchy dance tracks, Love Game, Paparazzi, and Starstruck to mention a few out of the many in the album. Although, I prefer her in dance tracks, GaGa slows the tempo a little in Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say), one of my favorite tracks without a doubt, she should include more songs like this one in the next album. Overall, The Fame is in excellent album and I'm sure it will establish Lady GaGa with a solid career and a bright future.
Standout Tracks:
- "Starstruck (Feat. Space Cowboy)"
- "Paparazzi"
- "Just Dance (Feat. Colby O'Donis)
- "LoveGame"
- "Poker Face"
- "Paper Gangsta"
- "Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say"
