Because he had an opinion, he is an elitist snob??? He is apparently not allowed to like "other" music because he works for a station that not only doesn't play the music he likes, but doesn't play much of anything at all??? While there is nothing wrong with being popular, there is nothing wrong with being unpopular and having some people who prefer you over, say, Britney Spears, or any other popular artist for that matter.

That was just the warm up for Ryan's wrath. Watch out and hope he doesn't come here.

Please don't misunderstand me. I was not trying to make the point that unpopular indie artists make crappy music (even though I called it "undiscovered indie ****" I'm well aware that there is plenty of outstanding "undiscovered indie ****"), I was just pointing out that I find it hilarious that this guy writes for MTV which caters to only the most commercialized of music tastes and when they force him to write an article in which he has to mention Britney Spears, or Beyonce, or Flo Rida he acts as though it's such a ****ing burden and a task that is completely below him. He's more that welcome to prefer the type of music he prefers, but It's as if he didn't realize what he was getting into when he took the job. And yes I am allowed to call him an elitist music snob, because I think quotes like this one are a pretty good indication of a douchebag-ish attitude towards others and their preferences.
