Britney by far. Janet's career may have been ruined, but it shattered Britney's mental abilities in my honest opinion. She has never and quite possibly will never be the same and that's so much worse than a career to me.

Lol, backlash doesn't leave you with mental issues, but it does bring them about (coupled with other events around her life like pregnancy, mixture of drugs that were not to her knowledge, etc).
Anyway, Britney, Madonna, and Janet got the worst of the worsts.
But just like Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, all of it will be washed away as soon as they die and they will be regarded as legends and deities.

Also Nipplegate was in a way the catalyst that started YouTube. I think it may have also been the reason for live broadcasts to now use the 7-second delay.
