COLDPLAY Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends
Released: June 17, 2008 Genres: Alternative rock Country: United Kingdom
I would have never thought that I would love Coldplay's album so much. I'm usually not into alternative music but after hearing amazing Violet Hill and Viva la Vida I decided to give the album a try. And I definitely don't regret it. I like the fact that they like to experiment with their sound and change it up a bit on each album. Songs on this album are something different from their X&Y album or even their older songs. Lost! is my favorite track on this CD.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS Unexpected
Released: October 7, 2008 Genres: Pop, R&B, dance-pop Country: United States
Michelle Williams finally left her gospel sound behind and decided to record a solid, modern-sounding Pop/R&B album. And the result was AMAZING. Ever since I heard Stop This Car and We Break the Dawn I knew that this album was going to be HOT. Actually, I think that it's better than Kelly Rowland's latest album and Beyoncé's B'Day (it doesn't own I Am... Sasha Fierce though ). I love what Michelle did with her image and sound and it's definitely working for her. But of course the album flopped because no matter what she releases, it's destined to flop.
