bands mime along to backing tracks very often in pop music, ESPECIALLY on live TV. the guy playing the horn stood next to her at one point just didn't appear to be playing anything to me but like I said I wouldn't know for sure because I don't play the instrument, It just looked funny to me.
Another thing is that the drums especially were straight from a track and were not played live but the drummer still mimed it so I'm thinking the rest of the band did too.
