The most important languages to be learning right now are Arabic, Mandarin, and Russian is starting to become important again.

It's a required class until sophomore year in high school.

English is the top dog in the linguistics world! Bye at people even mentioning German and Spanish, those are just some of the distant runner-ups.

Even Chinese, the most numerous people on earth, suffer from something known as "character amnesia" where they forget how to write Chinese after looking at English texts too long.
