Nadine told about GA split '20 minutes before final show'

Quote:
Nadine Coyle has claimed that she was told about Girls Aloud's plans to split 20 minutes before going on stage for what would become their final show.
The singer explained that she was handed a separation contract while in hair and make-up for the show, but refused to sign it.
"I didn't want the band to end, it was as simple as that," Coyle told The Mirror.
"I didn't think we were going to end - we had done all the promo saying we were all together, having a great tour, wearing Victoria's Secret wings and stomping up and down the catwalk every night, loving every single minute of it.
"And then, on the very last night of the tour, our management and publicist came up to me and said the girls wanted to split up the band. I was thinking, 'What?!'
"I was already in hair and make-up, about to get into my costume, and the show was starting in 20 minutes. I was shocked."
Coyle continued: "I went back to my make-up lady and told her, and was like, 'F**k! I don't have a job! What am I going to do?' I screamed and cried on stage and off stage.
"I was really dramatic for about 15 minutes and then I was over it again. After that I was fine, I refused to even be sad about it, really. It is what it is.
"I couldn't kick and scream, and change their minds - but had it been me, I would have done it differently, definitely. Not just before you go out on stage!
"And then I went back to LA and got pregnant, so wasn't around for what happened next. But I heard that they were saying that I knew the band wanted to split. No, no, no! I didn't!"
Girls Aloud split on the final night of their Ten: The Hits tour at Liverpool's Echo Arena on March 20, 2013.
Coyle tweeted of her unhappiness with the split at the time, writing: "I couldn't stop them."
