The editing is TRASSSSHHHHHH. The direction was horrid. The sets cheap, but with the right angles they could have been effective. Iggy's voice/rap/movements were awkward as usual.
Jennifer looked amazing and I loved the styling, but wtf at the Hype ****ing this up...
Oh and this song/video needs choreo. Now it just looks like a BTS of a GQ photoshoots.
Releasing this after AATB and Anaconda was a bad idea because it's going to be directly compared to those two and is by far the most underwhelming song and video of the 3.
Sorry but just trash. The preview made this look so sexy but it just fell flat, literally just ass shaking for 4 minutes. Very choppy, too much scene changes...the dancing for the most part was try hard....
They both looked great but unfortunately that was it..
Ok, this is coming from a huge Jennifer Lopez fan. I've always loved her and I still do, 100%. But I will say I'm kind of disappointed. I'm kind of half and half with this video. Here's why.
JLO has always been effortlessly beautiful. Absolutely stunning and sexy no matter what. She's always had an amazing body (still does), but she has always been one of the only female artists in the business today to be sexy and classy with it at the same time. She doesn't have to do this type of stuff to get attention. She's one of the most beautiful women in the industry. This video comes across as somewhat trashy and a slight bit desperate. She's Jennifer Lopez, she doesn't have to dumb herself down to this level in order to make a statement. She's too good for something like this, IMO. That's my only real complaint.
However, what I did really love about this video is that JLO basically shot down the ageists out there who think women cannot be this sexy and confident in their 40s+. I love how she doesn't care about her age, not that she's old, because she isn't at ALL. Her confidence shines so well in this video and I applaud her for being comfortable in her own skin and going for it.
So as of right now, yes I'm inbetween on whether I love this video or strongly dislike it, but no matter what, I love JLO and that's all that matters.
Add some dancers, maybe a male lead in the video to dance on, less choppy shots of J.Lo just ass shaking and we would've had a completely different video.
I love the beginning scene when she's against the wall, the waterfall scene and last scene when she's in the blazer. Take those scenes, add a few extra scenes with dancers, choreography and a male lead and she would've had a better music video...
