Bey is a veteran in the business except you want her to rely on heavy production or attention seeking stunts on stage, I don't think we should expect drastic changes when it comes to her performances.The fact that she is getting older should also be put into consideration.

I agree that they don't leave much room to give show stopping performing, although I can't help but feel like they still could be a lil better.

Drunk In Love for example, I don't know she has to be sitting in a chair. That's a song that she should just do nothing but sing. no choreo, no dancers, just feel the song out, get hype and sing LIVE.

I do agree Blow, Haunted, Partition & Drunk could be better live. They all worked at the VMAs because they were over before we grew tired of them.

I can't wait for Bey and Jay to go back to being the private couple they once were, also I hope that apart from a few collab here and there, OTR tour should be the last time they are ever heavily involved in each others career,i kind of feel that Jay has an overbearing influence and has the final say on things regarding the show,an evidence is the amount of time he spent on stage compared to Beyonce,during their tour,i want Beyonce the boss back and not her being reduced to his "little wife".
PS,they better not do that joint album.

Halo is Beyonce's most melodious song, I don't know that she'll ever be able to top that. XO had a chance but fell flat at the end.

I loved that Gaultier cage, I'm surprised she was able to move around in it. The hair/makeup could have been better.

Haunted, Blow and Partition are GREAT performances, Flawless too, specially when she has her own stage.

Drunk In Love is ok as well. She does awesome with XO anywhere.

Mine seems like it would be awesome, she would just murder it and it would be one hell of a spectacle, something a la Baby Boy. I would have loved to see her do it on the MCS, the lighting would be crazy on that stage or blend it somewhere in OTR tour and tug the rumors a bit more.

Jealous would have been perfect in the performance outfit for Pretty Hurts on the OTR tour. A full performance of Mine and Jealuos would be nice but I'm thankful for the VMAs one.

Pretty Hurts will be a boring performance, well underwhelming compared to what we're seeing from her.
No Angel would be ok. Same with Rocket, Superpower, Blue and Heaven.

That was just a special occasion because she was pissed.

The girls knows when to preserve her voice, and she re-records a backtrack specifically for the performances, the other bimbos just go out there with the obvious studio vocals. On a performance like Partition it's totally understandable with all the props and tight choreography she has.

Beyonce in 2007 would have totally owned the freestyle performance though but what's the point? She's filming a special and they'll show the planned performance, but hey it could work in the editing room if they show a bit of the messed up one and the planned one.

I honestly cant wait for the Grammys and Beys utter-slayage, becoming an artists with over 20 Grammys. Some of them really need to learn to shut up, its getting on peoples nerves and its just pure trolling.

Tbh though I am a bit annoyed that Bey doesn't really care about commercial success nor promo anymore. I mean she is only 5 albums in as a solo artist. What makes Madonna and Michael Legends is not just their star power but people loved the MUSIC. They had boatloads of #'1's. It's nice that fans know your songs but isn't even better when everyone in the world knows it? When I see great albums like 4 and Self Titled not get the success it deserves and singles like EOT, Countdown, Love on Top, Dril, XO, Partition not have that same success as the other girls irks me as well.

IMO Beyonce has just as many remembered hits as Madonna..so she's alright IMO.

XO was an ode to her pop fans but I hope as well she comes back with a mega song that will smash, right now she is focused on the album, maybe next time she will come back with another song that will take over and still keep her album credibility. Why can't she do both?

Edit: Actually it's not a matter of her making a smash song, it's a mater of her making sure it becomes one. XO would have been an easy listen and multi format smash, just give pop radio a check. Partition could have used that boost. Jealous is another candidate, it can be as big as Irreplaceable. Mine as well, it has such an easy cross appeal.
