I think that if you buy the singles seperately from pre-ordering the album on iTunes then those sales will count as normal. Obviously this is most of them, as there have been 1.5 million sales of SIO so far, and most of these are not from album pre-orders.
You can have the countdown singles. Obtaining these just by pre-ordering the album won't count though. Pre-ordering the album will just count as one album sale when it is released. This is instead of one album sale AND a sale for instant grats. The change makes it fairer to me.

And as a fan you heard the song in your bedroom, you played it over and over again, you know where the fiddle part is, yoau know where the banjo part is and you like the way it is sung on the record. I don't see me altering the way my previous work sounds live because people want to hear it the way they heard it on record.

It is okay to have opinion especially when it's true that her vocal can get really awful at times especially during award shows. It's sad 'cause she's actually good @ tour. Rihanna is the exact opposite. Rih is good at live streamed events while Rih her vocal during her tour is.
It's almost disgusting how ATRL can drag Lord to hell while praising Rih for her vocal
So if Lord can constantly pull All Too Godly @ the Grammys The vocals are not flawless but the performance itself is just perfect
