Oh god. Atheist but with a background influenced by christianity for centuries. If you were an atheist in Middle East your opinions would be still hugely influenced by the local culture with islam. Since ethics and morals have never had one absolute interpretation, I dont know what we are even fighting about.

If you do something cruel like this to another human being, you deserve to endure the same faith and stop living. No man is worthy of living for doing something terrible like that.
Why do some parents do this If you don't want the child, give him up for adoption. There are so many cases of sadistic parents abusing children. What compels this? One of the worst forms of torture, being born to a monster or a dragged into such a situation.
She deserved it. Sorry but if she doesn't behave like a human being then she doesn't deserve to have human rights. Human rights are meant for humans - not for a monster who starved a child to death with cold blood.
