Well Britney was always told by her managers and even her mother to look pretty and lolita-like, and she knows it doesn't mean she was happy. Look at her breakdown, she was at the top of the world, the perfect girl, but she ''stripped away the mascarade, the illusion has been changed'', she realized she wasn't happy with herself. Now she's less insecure (I hope)
