They always saying Monsters only live for the good reviews.
But how?
When the critics are not reviewing the music and trying to attack the artist, can we still call it as a review?
If they can give some real words for the music and share their opinion, we would be fine.
But the reason that we can't stay calm is: They are always DRAGGING the artists, not reviewing the music.

Eh, ARTPOP for the most part got the reviews it deserved though. That doesn't mean I don't wish it got better reviews but she still remained in the green.
Inb4 they review Gaga instead of the album, just like how they did with ARTPOP.

The Slant review is TRASH. Your supposed to review media without a bias due to your personal evaluations of the artists. The same thing happened with Chris Brown's X, they all PANNED the album just due to Chris' previous actions. Urgh, so frustrating.
Not everybody will like the album. Stop acting like this is gonna get certified great reviews.
This isn't the case. Slant isn't saying they don't like the album they're saying "hey, we don't like Lady Gaga. She doesn't deserve a good score. k thnx bi". This has nothing to do with the actual music presented to them, but due to their personal bias.
For example, I don't enjoy FKA twigs LP1. But, I can still respect the album, and would give it a good score in a review because it IS a good album. Just not for me. Slant decided to take in all their personal bias' on both Jazz music and Gaga and throw them all into why Cheek to Cheek is "bad".
This is why I don't give critics any actual weight. "More bankable" my pasty white ass, ARTPOP outsold his last effort and BTW outsold him the last time that they released in the same year, plus Gaga actually tours and has hit singles.
Critics are the most insufferable people related to music consumption.
Maybe when they're refering to more bankable they mean his 62 years in the business vs her 6.
Even though the introduction holds no basis (the conception of C2C was anything but hasty, trying to shame Lady for having musical inspirations, etc), the girl who reviewed it at least was technical while actually reviewing the music. I really don't have the training to say if she's right or wrong, my only issue with the songs we've already heard it's that they personally haven't really captivated or stuck with me yet. They're just fine.
It's not like it has any bearing on the success of an album.
