When I lurked I thought this was some insider website. And I only lurked for a few months before I got the chance to join. So I consider myself a 2014 member

Since I joined. I started lurking in late 2011 but I definitely don't consider myself a 2011 member.

I just signed up. I remember lurking once but that was because I was told that someone was shading Aaliyah.

Since I joined 5 years ago. I didn't have to lurk, registration was completely open back then.

Good question. I lurked four years before I became a member in 2006. So I know the 2002-2005 ATRL and stuff that happened here even though I wasn't a member at the time. But I consider myself a member based on my join date. You can't be considered a 'member' when you're just a guest, in my opinion.

i joined the same day i found out about atrl. it was like instant. i never lurked.

I consider myself a 2010 lurker, but as for being an active poster, I would say July 2012 was when I became active on the forum (but I still get a kii from being considered a beginning 2011 member)
