Hello fellow ATRLers and it's that time of year again where Halloween is coming up which means we are all getting more into horror movies since it's the perfect season to watch them. And what better way to celebrate but having a countdown of our favorite mass murderers, psychopaths, and crazy gingerbread men.
Last years turned out alright with 30 entries but let's try to get more! If there is a lot of entries this year, since registration was open earlier this year, I'll be more than happy if any of you want to help calculate the votes.
So let's get started!
I have tried to make it different this year so it's a little more interesting and keeps activity in the thread more. Below we have 5 different categories where you will make a list for each one of your favorite killers that fit
The Ghosts
The ghost countdown will include things of the supernatural such as ghosts, demons, etc. Most of these don't have names so just list the movie if they don't
The Slashers
The slashers countdown needs no explanation, just don't be basic with your choices
The Monsters
The monsters countdown includes the obvious, monsters. This can be the obvious and can be the weird. Anything not human and is not a normal animal belongs here. Yes this includes things from other worlds.
The Animals
The animals countdown is another obvious one, don't trust your beloved pets..or the angry animal chasing you in the woods.
The Groups
The groups countdown will include your favorite psychotic groups who are chasing the protagonist.
Rules to survive a killer countdown:
1. Send in 10 choices for each countdown, order matters so make sure your favorite is at #1
2. Include the name of your choice and their movie
3. Entries MUST be turned in by October 10th 2014
4. Please name the PMs when you send me your list as "Killer Rate - (Insert your username)"
5. Don't be a little bitch in the thread for what is winning each category if you don't like it
6. Don't be basic, yes we love Michael, Jason, and Freddy...but don't be basic, show some diversity!(though if you aren't a huge horror fan and don't know that many and are still doing this I love you and you can be basic )
