Now the question is how long will Meghan holds that top spot? 2 more weeks? 3? 4?

Why its big gain in streaming (when the song's official video premiered on Aug. 18, the day that it was released)? Swift posted four clips on her Vevo channel (on YouTube) in the past four days featuring outtakes from the video; as they include the song's audio, their clicks count toward the track's total streaming in the chart's tracking week.

Yay. Meghan No. 1 on Streaming Songs (2-1), up by 19 percent to 15.5 million U.S. streams.
On demand streaming: On-Demand Songs chart with a 24 percent lift to 4.1 million.
Any knows the record for on demand song audience peak?

While "Bass" holds at No. 1 on the Hot 100, Swift makes a push to reclaim the throne: "Bass" gains by 11 percent in overall chart points, while "Shake" soars by 22 percent.
"Shake" claims top Digital and Streaming Gainer kudos, holding at No. 2 on Digital Songs, up by 10 percent to 309,000 sold, and powering 6-3 on Streaming Songs (11.1 million, up 58 percent). Why its big gain in streaming (when the song's official video premiered on Aug. 18, the day that it was released)? Meghan is completely massive on Streaming, the numbers she is putting are just shocking. She actually broke that record. First song to reach 4M On-Demand streams. Previous record was "Bang Bang" with 3.8M

Very smart move. Why aren't artists doing it?
