No! Scotland is already irrelevant enough!
I'm from Scotland btw but I'm too young to vote. It's horrible here, I can't wait to move when I'm older!
I really dgaf about politics and don't care who the Prime Minister is or who voted, dead at all these people acting like they do

Ugh I'm still so undecided. There's pros and cons on each side. Like, only twice since WW2 has the vote of Scotland changed the UK Government, and knowing that we won't have to go through an idiotic decision made my the English (voting Tory) again is really tempting, but then it's still such a MAASIVE risk. Seriously, I don't think I'll know what I'm voting until I'm in the voting booth tomorrow morning.

Maybe were not pretending like we do. You're clearly young and stupid and don't know about the real world. You need to know about politics to understand what's best for our country and our families. Jesus. Scotland isn't irrelevant by any means, there's a lot that we've contributed to the UK, and in fact the WORLD. You tried it.

The Scots should vote yes. They can easily be an independent, prosperous and wealthy nation on their own. The British government is only warning the Scots because they're scared they'll lose one of their gold mines. They never thought Scotland would ever vote for independence, but only since recently that a poll's shown there IS a majority, they suddenly come running on their feet. Catalonia and Flanders/Wallonia next

I was joking (but I do dislike Scotland and the people!)...... Voting yes would be voting for an uncertain future, it's not worth it.

It would be uncertain, yep.. But what if it was for the best and we're going to let this massive opportunity slip through our fingers? Then it's such a big risk that the government can **** up, which is why I'm so 50/50 on the whole thing. Great promises are being made by both Better Together and Vote Yes, but a promise from a politician really doesn't mean a lot.

I'm so split, like.. Gahh. I really disagree with 16/17 year olds being aloud to vote, though. Most of them are far too easily influenced and probably haven't really thought completely about consequencs for both campaigns (although I think most are going to vote yes).. Most will just vote what their parents vote, too.

That was only one poll though. Besides, people who are firm on their vote aren't going to be the people who decide what the ultimate decision will be, it's all the people (like myself) who are so undecided on what side to vote!

There is much more at stake by voting yes, I highly doubt the promises will be kept. So much is still unclear a day before the vote, it really shouldn't be like that......

There is. The promises that interest me are stuff concerning NHS, bedroom tax, how the poor won't continue to get poorer whilst the wealthy get wealthier etc etc. I actually think both sides of the campaign have been terrible. So many unanswered questions on both sides. The only reason yes gets pointed out more is because it's the one that'll change everything, but obviously with any country going independence there's going to be a certain about of things that are unknown.
I'm also so tempted to vote yes because of the ridiculous bias that the media has shown towards the Vote Yes campaign, but that really shouldn't be a reason for me wanting to put a X in that Yes box.

There is a lot at stake either way. http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/alex-ma...-independence/ Also I really, really dislike Alistair Darling.

It's such a confusing time for me. In one hand, I'm all for independence and being patriotic, but then I'm worried about what will happen if the promises that are made aren't followed through. As someone in the thread has already said, a promise from a politician means next to nothing. In my opinion, both campaigns have been horrible and very unclear. The day before the vote and there are still unanswered questions isn't a good sign.
I voted Yes in the poll for this thread, but most likely won't decide until I'm in the voting booth tomorrow.
