Just saw this. There is actually not a single study that links saturated fat or meat or dairy as a direct cause of any negative health effects. I'm fact, organic, grass-fed meats in particularly have been shown to result in weight loss and improvements in cholesterol. Anyone saying otherwise is using outdated information and/or vegan propaganda.
On the contrary, soy, the basis of most vegetarian/vegan diets, has been blasted since it first became widely used in North America. As if the questionable compounds and phytoestrogens in the legume weren't controversial enough, over 90% of it is GMO.
You can't argue about food with someone that's studying to be a nutritionist as one of his career paths.
