Girls are trained to say, ‘I wrote this, but it’s probably really stupid.’ Well, no, you wouldn’t write a novel if you thought it was really stupid. Men are much more comfortable going, ‘I wrote this book because I have a unique perspective that the world needs to hear.’ Girls are taught from the age of seven that if you get a compliment, you don’t go, ‘Thank you’, you go, ‘No, you’re insane.’
The thing I love about that song is parts of it reads like a diary, and parts of it read like something 100,000 people should be screaming all together. It’s got these very big lines that everybody can relate to, which are given weight by her being really honest about personal things.
Jack Antonoff on “Out of the Woods” (x)
So we know the 3 Antonoff songs now, right. "I Wish You Would", "Out Of The Woods" and "You Are Love".
One of the 2 Tedder songs is "I Know Places" (probably the opening track, about moving to NY).
Then there's "Style", "All You Had To Do Was Stay", "Bad Blood", "Wildest Dreams". Presumably most of those are Max/Shellback.

few corrections from the taylor piece in rolling stone....

1) the song referenced is called "YOU ARE IN LOVE". you are love is a beautiful title, but you are IN love is more so.. and the actual title

2) on "I wish you would" the snare drum is inspired by fine young cannibals, NOT sampled. wouldn't take that snare - rather make my own

not a correction: "OUT OF THE WOODS" is one of the most important things I've ever been a part of. cannot wait for you to hear it
