Tyler, The Creator has compared the way in which U2's new album was automatically uploaded onto 500 million account holders' iTunes on Tuesday to "like waking up with a pimple or herpes."
The Odd Future rapper passed comment on the non-traditional way in which the Irish band released new album 'Songs Of Innocence' earlier this week.
Tweeting about the album on Friday (September 12), Tyler wrote: "Get off my ****ing phone. You couldn't come up with an actual marketing idea? **** @U2 I don't want you. **** Bono. I didn't ask for you, I'm mad."
He then added: "I did not you were on my phone. Its legit like waking up with a pimple or like a herpe idk I did know you were on my phone. What the ****."
However, he appeared to come round to the idea shortly after and added: "Wow its kinda sick that they are on people's phone out of nowhere……Hmm….I kinda like the idea kinda……**** Bono"
And Bono remains unbothered in his legend status while iTunes forces the peasants to listen to his new album.
Tyler can only dream of creating anything on par with any of U2's singles.
