Was Single Ladies Local ?
I mean those are disappointing numbers for a song that sold over 5 million copies in the States alone.

Not at all. It was everywhere here at the time and it's still remembered, at least by all of my friends who are not music stans.

Comparatively, yes.
It is still global by my standards because it did rather well WW and has great catalogue sales.
